The package sat in the FedEx distribution center for an entire day prior to delivery to us, and the cold packs in the box were almost entirely thawed out.
They need to recognize the importance of on-time deliveries of cold-pack items … Period!

My 19-year-old cat has a variety of medical conditions and is on a lot of medications. She also has constipation. This probiotic helps her poop be the right consistency and more regular. The only thing I do not like (reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) is the excessive packaging. I understand it’s needs to be refrigerated, but the packaging is a lot. I wish there was a way to buy it locally.

My cat has a megacolon and is prone to constipation. The addition of Visbiome to his other ongoing treatment has made him more regular. He didn’t seem to notice that something “extra” was in his meal.
The product packaging makes it easy to pour onto his food.

The product came hot in melted ice. They said it’s all good and that if the temperature indicator is not red is fine! The thing is I received the package super warm as it’s 90 degrees outside. I then left the temperature monitor sensor outside since I received the package last week. It’s been almost a week and the
Temperature sensor is still white!! It’s a scam and either the product is spoiled or the product doesn’t need to be refrigerated but they do market it as needs to be refrigerated! So either way they are misleading all of us!! Save your money and buy elsewhere their customer service is arrogant and not helpful too

Visbiome may arrive with the ice packs melted depending on ambient conditions during shipping. We include a temperature sensor monitor that will activate if your order experienced any temperature deviations that would affect product potency during shipping. Always check the temperature sensor monitor when the package arrives. If the dot is white the product is good to use.
While not widely known, it's important to note that Visbiome remains stable at room temperature for up to one week after being received by the customer, without adversely affecting the product's potency.
Allow me to explain the design and functionality of the temperature sensor monitor. The sensor is purposefully engineered to function inside a closed shipper box during transit, ensuring the optimal temperature for the product therein. It is not intended for use in an open-air environment, meaning that leaving it outside for an extended period is not its intended usage.
The temperature sensor monitors are designed to specifically safeguard against the potential risk of excessive heat during transportation. Everyday conditions like normal room temperature, holding it in your hands, or keeping it in your pocket are unlikely to trigger the sensor, as these fall within the sensor's standard technical parameters and do not qualify as excessive heat.
This technology involves a one-way chemical/heat reaction. Colored dye is entombed in a specially formulated wax-like substance that is engineered to melt when excessive temperatures and durations are reached. When that happens, the wax-like substance melts, and the dye is absorbed by the wick which will show in the viewing window. This is a one-way reaction, as once it happens, even if the sensor is reintroduced to cooler temperatures, the red dye is still visible.
